Being at peace with oneself creates good vibes that is then radiated throughout our immediate surroundings. That peace creates a whole new dimension of positivity, cheerfulness, harmony and of seeing the brighter side of Life. Imagine, if all the people in the world contains peace within, what a beautiful place it would be to live in sans the turmoil, the wars that are caused by unkind words, the stresses and anguish of modern day living and its consequences (Covid 19).
But it is easy to be distracted and lose the peace if we just rely on ourselves. To plug in from the source, the God of Peace, is the ultimate best for the Peace seekers.
"Let There Be Peace On Earth" says it all about achieving peace first within oneself. It is written by Jill Jackson Miller and Sy Miller in 1955. Since then it has morphed into different versions but the lyrics that I put up here is the version that our Immaculate Conception Choir of Camella, Bacoor sung each Christmas season until New Year's at mass recessional:
