Admonished by his wife to find a job, the husband thought of an easier means to earn a living by begging for money. One day, a disabled vegetable vendor gave alms to him. Upon seeing the lame vendor, the beggar wanted to give the alms back. However, the lame vendor refused because he believed that through diligence and God's mercy, he could get by.

Inspired by the lame vendor's advice, the beggar diverted to selling bottled water. Eventually, he sold other snacks too. While giving alms to a pauper, he saw the lame vendor and hugged him.
