In Montreal, we follow the story of Diane, a Filipina tourist who became a tour guide, an Uber driver, and a hotel housekeeper. She works hard to fulfill her dream of earning Canadian citizenship. One day, as she was loading shopping bags into the back of her car, Diane was surprised to find the passport of Kevin, the son of her deceased friend Susan. How did Kevin's passport end up there?
It turns out that Kevin's passport was accidentally swapped with Tony's, another Filipino traveler who was rushing to the airport. Tony booked an Uber ride driven by Diane. When Tony placed his bags at the back of the car, the passport slipped from his bag without him noticing.

Kevin looked for Tony to switch their passports back, but he was already gone. He contacted Hiwaga Tours, the travel agency that arranged their trip, and they informed him where Diane was. Kevin went to Canada to catch up with his mother, but he burst into tears when he learned from Diane that his mother had passed away. He had a grudge against his mother for missing his graduation and had not talked to her since then.
Kevin's situation made Diane realize that she should prioritize her daughter, Chloe, who had always longed for her presence. Diane decided to give up her Canadian citizenship dream for Chloe, who told her that their real citizenship, according to MCGI, is in heaven.
