TODAY'S GOSPEL: John 16:5-11
The Gospel of John reminds us of our relationship with Christ and the gift of the Holy Spirit. We are reminded that Christ himself treated his friends as humans, acknowledging their grief and consoling them. Christ saw the reality of the human process and acted accordingly, then gave way for the Holy Spirit to come forth. Let us reflect on this as we find a balance between the humanity and the spirituality of our mission.
