Infallibility means that the Bible cannot lead us astray in matters of faith and practice. It does not mean the Bible answers every scientific or historical question, but it does mean that everything the Bible teaches about God, salvation, life, and obedience is completely trustworthy. Because Scripture comes from a perfect God, it is free from error in its divine purpose—to guide us in truth.
