Sabbat Rituals: Wiccans celebrate eight Sabbats throughout the year, with each Sabbat honoring a different aspect of the God and Goddess and the cycles of nature.
Samhain (October 31st): Wiccan Samhain rituals focus on honoring ancestors and the deceased. Offerings of candles, milk, bread, and apples are common, as well as setting out a special place for the departed.
Imbolc (February 1st-2nd): Associated with Brigid, the Goddess of fertility and fire. Wiccans might offer milk, honey, and bread on their altars, and light candles to celebrate the returning light of spring.
Beltane (April 30th-May 1st): Celebrating fertility and love, offerings like honey, wine, and flowers (particularly roses or hawthorn) are used to honor the Goddess and invoke fertility.
Lughnasadh (August 1st): A harvest festival, where Wiccans might offer bread, grains, or fruits to the God and Goddess in thanks for the abundance of the earth.
