The Gospel of Mark teaches us more about the Sabbath, where God created it for us to enjoy resting in His presence. In this Gospel, Jesus directly says that the Sabbath was created for humankind. This shows the extent of God's love for us, because He gave us a special day that's purely dedicated to rest. This also gives us the chance to get to know more about God and His kingdom as we rest and spend more time with Him during the Sabbath.
