The Gospel of Mark reminds us that by sharing the Gospel of the Lord, there are different kinds of people who will either receive or reject it. This is a truth from God, because He knows that not all will receive His word wholeheartedly. The parable that Jesus told in this Gospel gives us a glimpse of what kinds of people are there and what their reactions could be when they hear the Word of God. This shows that as we share His Gospel, we also need to pray for the people we want to share it with, so their hearts will be open for Him.
