πππππ'π ππππππ Matthew 9:14-15
The Gospel of Matthew focuses on fasting for God. When we fast, we show our self-control over things, especially worldly things, so we can focus on God alone. Our fasting also shows our hunger for God and His Word. In time for this Lenten season, may we have the right focus we can give while we fast for God. May this fasting show how renewed we are after we recharge our souls through His word.
