March 4, 2024 | Jesus Always Tells The Truth | 𝐊𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲𝐚 𝐃𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬

𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐘'𝐒 𝐆𝐎𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐋 Luke 4:24-30

The Gospel of Luke shows us that no matter what happens, Jesus always tells the truth. In this Gospel's story, He told those who were there that no prophet was ever welcome in his hometown. During the old times, the people of Israel weren't very generous to those in need, and they pushed them away. As Jesus mentioned this to His crowd, they got angry at Him for telling the truth. Sometimes, the truth of God hurts so much that our instinct is to get angry at Him and walk away from it. What we should learn is to humble ourselves and accept that His truth can be uncomfortable at first, but there's a lot that we can learn from it.
