The Gospel of Mark emphasizes how much we need to value God's guidance and laws for us. As Christians, we are called to love others as we love ourselves and to love God above anything and anyone else. If we value these commandments, our lives will surely be enriched by God's love and His Word for us. When we allow love, especially the love of the Lord, to work in our lives, the relationships in our lives will be better and enhanced as well. If we love our neighbors, we become witnesses of God's love, which will also extend to them.
