The Gospel of John talks about condemnation and how we often condemn ourselves when Jesus doesn't. As sinners, we often feel ashamed of ourselves for our past mistakes, even when we pray for forgiveness. While this is completely normal, we are being taught today that we shouldn't let shame enter and rule our hearts because when that happens, the grace and forgiveness of God will not have space in our hearts and lives anymore. With Jesus, we can come to Him with our deepest and darkest sins and ask for His forgiveness, and He will never condemn us.
