The Gospel of John reminds us that by being true to His word, we are also becoming His true disciples. This is because His word is our guide to becoming better people through Christ. His word will free us from the slavery of our sins, and we will fully experience the freedom that comes with his salvation. His Son, Jesus Christ, can give us that freedom. We should pray for His freedom, for the forgiveness of our sins, and for the guidance of the Holy Spirit so we won't be tempted to go back to our sins again.
