July 19, 2024 | Understand the Real Spirit of the Law | 𝐊𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲𝐚 𝐃𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬

𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐘'𝐒 𝐆𝐎𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐋 Matthew 12:1-8

The Gospel of Matthew encourages us to be more like Jesus, who has a more spiritual level of understanding of the laws. Laws, especially the biblical ones, are tailored to uplift the lives of the poor and needy. If we need to give a rebuttal regarding the law when we, as Christians, are asking questions, we should be more like Jesus, who puts everything in perspective and considers all sides before judging anyone. May we be less judgmental but rather more compassionate with how we practice religion and its laws in our daily Christian lives.
