The Gospel of Matthew focuses on teaching us to love others as we love God. Our definition of 'neighbors' expands the more we walk in our faith because we extend the love we receive from Him to others. This is the second commandment from God. As we nourish ourselves with love, we must not forget to love and be more compassionate to our neighbors, especially those in need. We love others because we love God, and we receive the greatest love from Him. His love overflows for us, calling us to share it with others so they can also see the light of Jesus.
