The Gospel of Luke shows us that no matter what happens, Jesus always tells the truth. In this Gospel's story, He told those who were there that no prophet was ever welcome in his hometown. Sometimes, the truth of God hurts so much that our instinct is to get angry at Him and walk away from it. What we should learn is to humble ourselves and accept that His truth can be uncomfortable at first, but there's a lot that we can learn from it.
