𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐘'𝐒 𝐆𝐎𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐋: Matthew 14:22-33
The Gospel this Sunday discusses the different tensions in this story: the tension between darkness and light, the tension between faith and fear, and the tension between focusing on Christ and being conscious of the things around us. This Gospel also discussed that fear present in faith makes us lose perspective, making us not recognize the presence of the Lord in our lives because of the worldly concerns around us. We are reminded that these tensions will be resolved by the presence of Christ because He settles everything.
