The Gospel of Matthew emphasizes the three kinds of love and the greatest commandments mentioned by the Lord: love of God, love of neighbor, and love of self. It is said that when we discover gratitude, we can also love God in return. When it comes to loving your neighbor as yourself, this can be best expressed through service. Meanwhile, loving ourselves properly can be contingent on how we accept God's love for us.
