We are reminded that having a certain consistency can also help us develop a vigilant mind and lifestyle when it comes to living for God. Lastly, this Gospel also encourages us to have the self-discipline to constantly do things on a day-to-day basis. This kind of discipline plays an important role in preparing ourselves for God.
