The Gospel this Sunday gives us three important points regarding following Christ: following Him means discipleship, denying oneself and taking up one's cross, and the fruit of following Christ. Understanding how to be a real disciple of Christ leads to following Him more. Meanwhile, denying oneself invites us to become selfless and allow the spirit of the Lord to enter our lives. All of these will lead us to find the deepest meaning of following Him.
