The Gospel of Luke tells us to be prepared and to be present when the moment comes for the Lord. We need to understand and appreciate this as a deliberate practice that grows into a development for our faith. This Gospel also teaches us to respond to the moment to be able to discern what the moment asks of us. Lastly, this Gospel reminds us that Christian love must always be shown through loving service.
