𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐘'𝐒 𝐆𝐎𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐋: Mark 13:33-37

The Gospel this Sunday reminds us about the tradition and the core graces of Advent. Advent gives us the chance for fresh beginnings, as it also calls us back to conversion and renewal as we anticipate the coming of the Savior. This renewal also gives us the way to prepare and always be ready for the second coming of Christ. This Gospel also shows us how the world waited for the promise of the Messiah. Through this waiting, Advent is a great reminder for us regarding waiting and longing, and it should push us to prepare through prayer, fasting, and pennance.
