The Gospel this Sunday shows us that, despite not fully understanding everything, Mary put her complete faith in God's word and His messenger. She listened, and she consented to what would happen to her next because her faith was intact. It's a gift to have this kind of faith, and in this season of gift-giving, we are reminded that gifts do not only come in the form of material things but, more importantly, in spiritual blessings for us.
