The Gospel of John focuses on the role of John the Baptist, which is to bring people and point them to Christ. As Christians, this should also be our vocation and missionβto lead people to Him. Our lives should be powerful testimonies for and about Christ. Lastly, this Gospel also shows the humility of John the Baptist. We are reminded that we must not call attention to ourselves when we point people to Christ.
