𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐘'𝐒 𝐆𝐎𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐋 Mark 1:7-11

The Gospel of Mark shows us the baptism of the Lord and the love of God for His Son. This shows us both the humility of Jesus and the love of God for His people, whom He considers to be part of His family. The humility of Christ is manifested through the act of baptism itself, where, even though He's the Prince of Peace, He still willingly had himself baptized by John the Baptist. His being proclaimed the Son of God, with whom He is well pleased, showed us how great God's love is because He gave His only Son to redeem us from our sins.
