Petra, City of Wonder
Petra is a city literally carved out of rose-red cliffs, making it an extraordinary example of ancient engineering and artistry. Its most iconic structures, like the Treasury (Al-Khazneh) and the Monastery (Ad-Deir), are massive facades intricately carved into sandstone, showcasing the craftsmanship of the Nabataean civilization. "Petra, City of Wonder" celebrates the ingenuity behind creating a metropolis in such an inhospitable desert environment, where buildings, tombs, temples, and even a complex water system were all sculpted into stone.
