PONDER YOUR DECISIONS | The Word Exposed with Cardinal Tagle (September 27, 2026) with Sign Language

Jesus presents two examples: a man asked his sons to go to their vineyard and work. The first said no, but eventually went. The other readily said yes, but did not go. The chief priests and elders said that between the two, it was the first son who did their father’s will.

This is us, brothers and sisters. Sometimes our words do not correspond to our actions. Sometimes our “yes” to God remains as mere expression. Sometimes we initially say “no” but also have a change of heart in the end.

Let us pray for the grace of conversion so that our every word and action might align—might express our love for God. Let us ponder our decisions: where they come from and what consequences might come from them.
