pov: you're a Christian with a savior complex

πAs Christians, it isnβt our job to βsaveβ peopleβthatβs still Jesusβ job π«ΆπΌ But I do think that many people, myself included, still struggle with understanding how God can save people, even through other people. Anyone else relate? π
In fact, sometimes I feel like God, in His mercy, prevents me from certain opportunities to share the gospel to expose my heart.

βοΈ Having βsavior complexβ is a double-edged sword:
1. When you effectively help someone, you take way too much pride in it π (and forget it was Godβs work all this time)
2. On the other hand, when you fail to help, you beat yourself up with so much guilt (forgetting that God can help them without you π )
If you also struggle with this, I invite you to pray for God to search your heart and help you to obey Him with a humble and selfless heart π€ And letβs remember that God asks us to be His messengers, and we ought to embrace that responsibility, while relying fully on Him to cause the growth in the seeds we plant and water.
