Oh Lord, I come to You in fear and trembling and in deep despair.
I wish I had wings so I could fly away to a quiet place to rest.
Lord, everything is falling apart.
I ask You to lift me out of this situation.
I cry out in my distress, and You hear my voice.
You keep me safe from this battle waged against me.
God, You rule forever,
and I thank You that You have heard me,
and You will quiet this storm. Amen.
