Prepare to Meet the Lord: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

Life on earth is all about preparation.

Why are we called Spiritual Israel?
- We become Spiritual Israel because of our faith in God.

Galatians 3:6-7
6 So also Abraham “believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” 
7 Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham.

Romans 9:8
In other words, it is not the children by physical descent who are God’s children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham’s offspring.

Galatians 3:29
So those who rely on faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.

Hebrews 8:10-12
10 This is the covenant I will establish with the people of Israel
after that time, declares the Lord.
I will put my laws in their minds
and write them on their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.
11 No longer will they teach their neighbor,
or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’
because they will all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest.
12 For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more.”

John 1:12
12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God

Why do we need to be prepared?
Prepared means:
- Made ready for use
- Ready to do or deal with something

People are well-prepared for their future. 
- In our preparedness, let us ensure that our plans are inclined to the will of God for our lives. 
- Let us not worship the blessings, rather the Blesser.

WHY DO WE NEED TO BE PREPAPED?
1. We will not remain in this world
- 1 Peter 2:11
Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul.
- Because life is temporary:
o Do not waste your life
o Do not use
