Price of Sexual Immorality - July 25, 2023 DD
Pastor Sumrall points out what society now considers normal but comes with a heavy price. In today's devotions, he reflects on Solomon's teachings in Proverbs Chapter 5, highlighting the four losses resulting from sexual immorality: Honor, achievements, wealth, and the fruits of your labor. He warns us not to go near sexually immoral people, and by following this advice from Proverbs, we will lead a better life.
Proverbs 5:7-10
7 So now, my sons, listen to me.
Never stray from what I am about to say:
8 Stay away from her!
Don't go near the door of her house!
9 If you do, you will lose your honor
and will lose to merciless people all you have achieved.
10 Strangers will consume your wealth,
and someone else will enjoy the fruit of your labor.
