Crisis is going to meet us head-on whatever our station in life and wherever we are. There are various forms of CRISIS SITUATIONS and one of the most difficult to handle is the crisis of BETRAYAL, which is the case here.

There are only two ways to respond to a crisis: THE SPIRITUAL WAY AND THE CARNAL WAY. Jesus demonstrates in this passage how to respond in a spiritual way to crisis. The carnal way is displayed by the disciples of Jesus.
