Restoring Creation: Part 13: Where Did the Water and Deep Come From? Gen. 1:2 Understood in Job 26
Many have heard the characterization of supposed Bible scholars that Gen. 1:2 represents a Gap in scripture. Does it? The thinking is that the waters, deep and darkness were residual leftovers from a previous world. Now this goes completely out the window as the waters and the deep abysses were created on the First Day and Creation is already underway in Gen. 1:2. That is the only way to read this.
