Risk - June 10, 2023 DD
COP Manila
In this episode of Daily Devotions with Pastor Sumrall, let's delve into First Kings chapter twenty-two and uncover valuable lessons from what seems to be an amiable encounter between the kings of Israel and Judah, in 1 Kings 22:29-40, that led to a decision to claim Ramoth-gilead from the king of Syria. The king of Israel slyly suggests that Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah, wear his royal robes in an ensuing battle, risking his life while giving cover to the king of Israel. This story is a powerful reminder for those entering partnerships or business ventures: Beware those expecting you to shoulder all the risks while claiming shared ownership. Be discerning and choose wisely.
