Why is it important to study the life and works of Rizal?
It is important to study Rizal's life and his writings including other heroes because the contribution they give to the country is priceless. We the youth know only a little background of their lives and works and we are already moved, what about if we dig deeper into this?

Fighting injustice in society was Rizal's sole motto. Night and day, all he dreamed of was to free fellow Filipinos. Rizal became a leader of the reformist movement called Propaganda, an unwavering campaign for political and social freedoms.
He has been instrumental in the Filipino's bid towards independence and several developments in various sectors. Rizal also made contributions to Philippine art, literature, and medicine, which continue to fascinate his countrymen today. Rizal's love for the Philippines was evident in nearly all his actions.
