We, Christians, are supposed to help each other get back up after a slip-up because, as humans, we will encounter sin throughout our life here on earth, but what matters most is how we treat each other the way we were taught from the Bible.
Galatians 6:1 (NIV) - "Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted."
