HOW TO LIVE HOLY IN AN UNHOLY WORLD?
1) Disconnect from the world to live a holy life
Disconnect means:
- Not living like the world (social media)
- Not thinking like the world (negative thoughts, overthinking)
- Not sick and broke the world
- Not engaging in sin like the world (immoralities)
Romans 12:2
2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
- God does not conform to any standard of the world
- The holiness of God is the standard of righteousness to which the whole universe will be conformed.
James 4:4
4 You adulterous people,[a] don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.
- Our thoughts, actions, words and behaviors should be different. We should look like Jesus.
1 Peter 1:15
15 But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do;
- If we want to live a holy life we must be disconnected from the world and its ways, and connected to God and His ways.

2) Flee from temptation to live a holy life
2 Timothy 2:22
22 Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
- Can we resist temptation? YES.
1 Corinthians 10:13
13 No temptation[a] has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted[b] beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted,[c] he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
When temptation attacks let us say…
“Body, shut up! You are not going there. You are not doing that. I don’t even want to hear that!” I REBUKE YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS.
Do not let your flesh live any way it wants to live. CRUCIFY IT.
To live a holy life, you have to flee from temptation. Do not entertain it, do not consider it, do not have dinner with it,
