STAY CONNECTED – Daily Devotional

Devotional Message:
(Colossians 4:2)
"Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful."

Observation:

In this verse, Paul gives us a simple yet powerful instruction. At first glance, it seems straightforward, but there is a lot packed into this short verse. Paul is reminding us that prayer is not just something we do occasionally or when we are in trouble. It is something we are to devote ourselves to. Devotion means giving our full attention to something, making it a priority in our lives.

Think about things we are devoted to in everyday life—our families, our work, our friends. We spend time with them because they are important to us. In the same way, Paul is saying that prayer should be something we make time for regularly. It keeps us connected to God, just like talking to a close friend keeps the relationship strong.

But Paul doesn't stop there. He tells us to be watchful in our prayers. This means we should stay alert, aware of what is happening in our lives, in the world, and in our walk with God.
