Temptation Does Not Last - March 17, 2024 DD
Today's reading from Luke 4 teaches us that while the pressures of temptation are strong, they are only temporary. However, they hang around and come at the opportune time when we are at our weakest point. Still, we can overcome them because Jesus is within us, and He will not let us fall.
Luke 4:1-2 NLT
Then Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan River. He was led by the Spirit in the wilderness, where he was tempted by the devil for forty days. Jesus ate nothing all that time and became very hungry.
