Prior to leaving for Dubai, Ruby, an OFW, had been calling Girlie, her youngest sister, to ask if her ticket and passport were coming already issued. Upon arrival, Ruby introduced Girlie to other OFWs. She oriented her about the food and amenities in the building where they stay. Ruby promised Girlie that they will roam around over the weekend. The day after her arrival Girlie noticed that Ruby has been so helpful to other OFWs. Ruby easily lent money and was merciful to those who were in need of food.
Her generosity was questioned by Girlie who blamed her for allowing their house to be occupied by their brother. But she was enlightened when Ruby explained that she had been taken care of by their brother long before. Ruby narrated how she was able to recover from her illness when other OFWs took care of her, including other instances of their goodness.

Ruby opened her heart to Girlie, who then realized that love is the key in understanding and being merciful to others, as Ruby manifested in her deeds.
