The Angelus is a beautiful Catholic prayer that invites us to pause from the busyness of daily life and remember the mystery of the Annunciation—when the Angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would become the Mother of Jesus.

Mary responded with faith and humility: “Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it done unto me according to your word.” Her yes reminds us that trusting God sometimes means surrendering our own plans and allowing Him to lead us.
The Angelus also reminds us that God entered our human world through Jesus Christ. It is an invitation to stop, breathe, pray, and remember that God is present in our lives—even in ordinary moments.
May the Angelus teach us to have Mary's faith: to listen, to trust, and to say yes to God with a willing heart.
🌹 Mary, Mother of God, help us to follow your example of faith and humility.
🙏 Let us pray:
Pour forth, we beseech You, O Lord, Your grace into our hearts, that we, to whom the Incarnation of Christ Your Son was made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His Resurrection.
