The battleship USS Alabama has a glorious history, winning 9 battle stars for her involvement in major campaigns including the Philippines. The Alabama actually played a pivotal role in the Battle Of Leyte Gulf, which kicked the Japanese out of my hometown of Tacloban! I owe the battleship, and her crew, a huge thanks for freeing my country - and today I'm going to pay my respects. Join me for an up-close tour of this amazing piece of history!
