The Circumcision Group Again - June 25, 2023 DD
COP Manila
In today's Daily Devotions, join Pastor David Sumrall in our second encounter with a group called "The Circumcision." This group of born-again Christians in the Church of Jerusalem has a unique belief system; they emphasize the necessity of circumcision and strict adherence to the Mosaic law over being saved by grace. We see that as legalistic controllers, they have no enthusiasm for evangelism and focus solely on addressing fellow Christians. But let us remember this: when outsiders challenge our salvation and impose their legalistic doctrines, recognize that it is not of God. As Peter declared in Acts 15:11, our salvation lies in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Remember to remain steadfast in the knowledge that it is by grace that we are saved.
Acts 15:11 "But we believe that we will be saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, just as they will."
