THE POWER OF PRAYER AND FASTING
All miracles, blessings, and great works from God come with a price, and it require many hours of prayer and fasting. Jesus exemplified this by fasting for 40 days before His ministry, demonstrating that the purpose of fasting is to seek healing, freedom, and deliverance of souls. True prayer, especially for God's glory, guarantees 100% answered prayers and often exceeds our expectations.
The stories of Daniel and Esther highlight this principle. When Daniel learned of a death decree against the Jews, he knelt and prayed, leading God to reverse the decree. Esther faced a similar death sentence but boldly declared, “If I perish, I perish,” and fasted with her people. Despite the risks, her confidence in God's power led to a reversal of her circumstances, saving her people.
