I Need to Take off Self-Righteousness (Romans 5:6-8)
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Romans 3:23-24
I Need to Treasure what God Gives that the World Cannot (Romans 5:1-2)
Our justification brought amazing treasures treasures we have in Christ:
1. Peace
“we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” Romans 5:1
2. Grace
“through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand” Romans 5:2
3. Hope in the Glory of God
“and we boast/rejoice in the hope of the glory of God” Romans 5:2
I Need to Transform through Trials (Romans 5:3-4)
Suffering is not something to be avoided. In fact, it can be a valuable experience that can help us to grow in our faith and character. When we suffer, we can rejoice because we know that it is producing something good in us.
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
