Today's reading from Acts 9 reminds us that following the call of God to the full-time ministry is not a lifestyle of glamor and fame; instead, it is a road less traveled, a path towards hard work and sacrifices to serve Jesus and to share His Word to the world that needs to hear Him.

15 But the Lord said to Ananias, "Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel. 16 I will show him how much he must suffer for my name."
