THE PROMISES OF GOD NEVER CHANGE
The promises of God remain unchanging because God Himself does not change. When faced with challenges or adversities, like the disciples who panicked and forgot Jesus's promise of His resurrection, we must not lose faith or focus on negative circumstances. The disciples failed to remember that Jesus had repeatedly told them He would rise from the dead, and instead of rejoicing in the fulfillment of His words, they were overwhelmed by His death.
This teaches us that seemingly negative events, like Jesus's death, are often necessary steps in the fulfillment of God's promises. We should not be discouraged by setbacks but should rejoice, trust, and focus on God's unchanging promises, knowing that what He has promised, He will fulfill.
