THE ROOT CAUSE OF THE WORLD'S CRISIS
The root cause of the world's crisis is sin, which originated in heaven when Lucifer, an anointed cherub, allowed pride to corrupt him, leading to his downfall and transformation into Satan, the adversary of God. Sin entered the world through Adam and Eve when they disobeyed God's command in the Garden of Eden, bringing fear, suffering, sickness, and death into humanity. Their disobedience also gave Satan control over the world's system, resulting in the darkness and chaos we see today.
The Lord Jesus Christ left heaven and His throne, taking on human nature. He allowed Himself to be hurt, spat on, kicked, insulted, mocked, and die on the cross of Calvary—to pay for the sins of humanity and destroy the works of satan.
