📖 DAILY DEVOTIONAL & CHRISTIAN MOTIVATION
Based on Acts 19:26, this Christian devotional takes us to ancient Ephesus, one of the most influential and prosperous cities of the ancient world. The apostle Paul boldly preached the gospel, and God's power transformed lives—but his message also created fierce opposition. Demetrius the silversmith, whose business depended on making silver shrines of Artemis, became alarmed because the gospel was turning people away from idols and threatening his profits. His fears eventually contributed to a massive riot in the Ephesian theater. Yet despite religious, social, political, and financial opposition, Paul continued proclaiming Jesus. This daily Bible devotional and Christian motivation highlights God's incredible tenacity to save. The gospel does not simply change individual hearts; it challenges systems and priorities built around things that cannot truly save. If someone you love seems far from God, don't lose hope. If their environment seems hostile to faith, remember Ephesus: God does not give up easily. No hostile city, heart, crowd, culture, or circumstance is too difficult for the gospel. Jesus continues to pursue the lost and call people out of darkness into His truth.
🙏 Trust God's persistence. Keep praying for the people you love, and never underestimate what the gospel can do.
