"I am Reignford Sacala, I'm from Tin-ao, Agusan, Cagayan de Oro City. I go to church at GCAF (Golden City Alliance Fellowship).
I had my accident in 2005, we went into an evangelical crusade and concert in Leyte, Samar, when going home to Cagayan de Oro City, our vehicle got into an accident in Anakan, Gingoog City. I was asleep that time and according to witness I was thrown 20 meters and the right part of my head broke, and then everything was like a dream because I was asleep that time.
In my dream I was walking, it is all white and I'm alone, I was walking for a long time and I wonder where I am going?, the place is vast and it is all white. When I wake up after the accident (I was comatose for 7 days) I looked for a bible and then the Word of God said in Matthew "He who keeps his life will lose it but He who lose his life for my sake will have it more".
That time I quit my job playing on jazz bars and focus on mission works and play on evangelical crusades and then unexpectedly the accident happened. But the Word of God comforts me, that His presence keeps me alive. I asked God if you want to give me a song, give a song from You, I wrote the song and I was healed.
The song also has a connection after my accident, it has a big part in my life, there's a lyric in the song that goes "in your presence, there is freedom, there is victory." The presence of God gave me life again, He gives me life. That is the message of the song. The Presence of God is so Important, it keeps me alive even in death that happened in my life. It is a very terrible accident that it broke my skull and all the doctors say it is hopeless, but it is only God who decides for me and after one week I woke up.
